Two engineers, 25+ years of automation experience, and one strong opinion: the industry is full of circus, and clients deserve better.
Team 14 was founded in May 2024 by Bardo Schütz and Christian Rockrohr. They had spent five years working together on complex automation projects across Europe, and along the way they reached the same conclusion: in most automation work, the people doing the actual building spend more time in status meetings than in code. By the time something gets delivered, the client has aged five years and the original problem has moved on.
So they started Team 14. Small on purpose. Two founders who build, decide and ship. No middle layers, no handoffs, no surprise invoices for "discovery workshops". The team is small on purpose. Small means direct contact, short feedback loops and no time wasted in status meetings about status meetings.
About the name.
"Intelligent Automation" written in leet speak becomes "1n73ll1g3n7 4u70m4710n". The 1 and the 4 stay with us. It's our quiet way of saying we genuinely speak the language of technology — and a small reminder not to take ourselves too seriously.

Why we exist
Too many automation projects get lost in process. Project managers, analysts, consultants, developers, status meetings about status meetings. By the time anything gets delivered, the client has aged five years and lost interest.
We do it differently. Small team. Direct contact. WhatsApp open. Things get built.
We're not trying to become the biggest automation consultancy in Europe. We're trying to be the one that actually delivers.
